information fournie par Actusnews 18/10/2016 à 18:00

More than 200 internships planned for 2016/17

For the 2nd year running, the Wavestone consulting firm was one of the French companies awarded the Happy Trainees label in recognition of the quality of its corporate trainee policy, based on a satisfaction poll carried out among corporate interns.

Wavestone is in the top 10 of companies that hire more than 100 interns per year, ranking7 th .

The Happy Trainees survey: a forum for students to assess their company

Happy Trainees is an independent label created in 2012 by ‘Meilleures-entreprises.com' to reward a company's excellence in the reception, mentoring and management of students. The objective here is twofold: to steer future young professionals in their career-path choices and to provide participating organisations with an in-depth assessment of their HR policies with regard to intern assimilation, training and supervision.

Nearly 92% of Company interns rate Wavestone a good firm for an internship

Every year, more than 200 trainees and work/study students choose Wavestone as their company of choice to take their first steps towards making their entry into the job market. The findings of the 2016 survey show that around 92% of respondents recommended Wavestone as a good firm to do an internship. With an overall rating of 4.29/5 , Wavestone rose 8 places in 2015 and entered the top 10 among companies that hire more than 100 interns per year.

Receiving the Happy Trainees label for the third year running in 2015 is recognition for the firm's proactive student-centered HR policy. All Wavestone end-of-study internships are offered within the framework of the firm's pre-hiring policy, its primary source of recruitment which offers more than 70% of students a permanent employment contract at the end of their internship.

In this context, new trainees undergo an equally demanding and selective hiring process and benefit from the same integration and mentoring support as all Wavestone recruits. "Because internships serve as a springboard to employment, explained Laure Michel, Recruitment Director at Wavestone, they must deliver real added value to students by helping them find a vocation, develop their skills and assume responsibility. Internships also offer students the opportunity to experience a professional working environment and acquire an understanding of corporate culture.” In this way, Wavestone endeavors to involve student interns in its corporate project and to enable them to actively participate in the internal life of the Company (knowledge management, events, educational-institution relations, community events, etc.).

Wavestone launches its new trainee/apprentice campaign with more than 200 internships planned for 2016/17

Wavestone plans to recruit more than 200 trainees and apprentices in 2016/17 by offering internship opportunities across all of its business lines (consulting, commercial and cross-functional).

Internship and apprenticeship programmes run from 5 to 12 months and 1 to 3 years respectively. These may commence at any time and are carried out at the Company's Paris La Defense headquarters, or in Nantes, Marseilles, Lyon, Brussels, Geneva, Luxembourg.

Concerning the ideal intern-candidate profile, Wavestone targets students with a keen appetite for innovation and a true sense of teamwork and who hail from the most prestigious engineering and management schools and universities. Future interns must have excellent social skills, as well as a strong commitment to service and quality.
