The EWEA 2015 Event, the leading pan-European annual event of the wind energy sector, is currently taking place in Paris, France, two weeks before the COP 21. FUTUREN, an independent producer of wind power, is present at this event.
On this occasion, the Group signed a turbine supply agreement for the purchase of 4 wind turbines for Les Monts project, located on the territory of the towns of Sainte-Maure and Saint-Benoît-sur-Seine, in the Aube French department. The contract also includes associated maintenance services, securing the costs of maintenance over fifteen years.
This is the second turbine supply agreement that the Group signs in less than five months, demonstrating the dynamic management of its project portfolio in France. FUTUREN currently carries on the construction of two wind farms in France for a cumulative capacity of 39 MW. After ordering the turbines, the Group will start the construction works for Les Monts project in the first quarter of 2016, commissioning being expected for the end of 2016.
The unit capacity of the selected wind turbine model reached 3.3 MW, bringing the total installed capacity of the wind farm to 13.2 MW.
The future wind farm will generate green electricity that will cover the domestic electricity needs of approximately 12,000 households each year.
