GLOBAL ECOPOWER : Global EcoPower recognized Innovative Company by Bpifrance: qualification obtained for FCPI

Aix-en-Provence (France), September 22, 2014. Global EcoPower (FR0011289198 - ALGEP), a turnkey constructor of power plants using renewable energy sources, announces the obtaining of the qualification as Innovative company awarded by Bpifrance.

GEP has obtained this qualification within the framework of a project to optimize the production of electricity from solar power. GEP has developed an innovative system of optimizing the opening of the photovoltaic rooftops of the agro-solar complexes allowing both to optimize the electricity production, of the order of 12% to 18% depending on the site, and to reduce the harmful effects of humidity in the greenhouses.

This technology will be used by Global EcoPower for all its agro-solar complexes in different countries.

With this qualification, the share of GEP (ISIN: FR0011289198 - Mnemo: ALGEP) becomes immediately and fully eligible for FCPI (Fonds Communs de Placement dans l'Innovation, or Innovation-focused Mutual Funds), 60% of the assets of which must be invested in companies qualified as innovative.
