2015 Sales at €510M, a fourth quarter marking the renewed growth

Groupe MAISONS FRANCE CONFORT sales for the 2015 financial year was €510M up 0.6%. At constant scope, activity fell 3.0%.

The decline recorded for the first two quarters was primarily due to the sharp drop in order intake observed over the second and third quarters of 2014 (-8.2% in value), which constitutes the start of construction in the first half 2015, combined with lengthier administrative deadlines (extremely lengthy bank file processing times, slowdown in the signing of deeds of client land, longer building permit processing times).

The 4 th quarter at €152.7M, up by 13.2%, confirms the reversal in the trend already under way in the third quarter 2015 and benefits from the consolidation of Camif Habitat and its subsidiary Illico Travaux since 1 st October 2015.

For the fiscal year, the Renovation activity represents a total turnover of 18M€.

Excellent business activity with the annual order intake at +15.7%

At the end of December 2015, order intake reached 6,405 sales and represents a turnover of €697.9M before tax, up from 15.7% in number and in value compared to last year. At constant scope; the variation is +14.8% in number and +15.0% in value.

The fourth quarter 2015 remained very dynamic with sales up 6.0% in number and 8.7% in value, despite a less favourable base effect as the months of November and December started off showing signs of recovery (for the record, respectively +9.8% and +11.1% in value). With an increase in sales of +12.7% in number, December 2015 suggests favourable trends for the current year.

Strong organic growth for 2016

For 2016, considering the level of current construction, order intake recorded during the last three quarters 2015 together with the dynamic of the Renovation business, the Group is expecting double-digit growth in production, thus allowing it to gradually return to its sustainable operating margin.

As far commercial activity is concerned, the Group believes it will continue to win market share in a sector that has become concentrated over the past few years, and benefit from the latest measured adopted by the government in view of broadening access to interest-free loans. Effective since 1 st January 2016, this new interest-free loan, combined with continuously low interest rates, should have a positive impact thanks notably to the re-solvency of an important section of first-time buyers.

2016 will also be a year marked by the integration of Camif Habitat and Illico Travaux into the MAISONS France CONFORT Group with the creation of numerous synergies primarily commercial.
