GROUPE STERIA : Steria wins the "2010 SFR Supplier Challenge" in the Information Systems category
SFR selected Steria among its IT service providers to win the "2010 SFR Supplier Challenge" award. This award illustrates the relationship that has developed between the two partners over the past 20 years.
Introduced this year by SFR's Purchasing Department, the SFR Challenge honours the best suppliers among the operator's Top 100, based on their contributions according to the following three criteria: Innovation, Customer Satisfaction and Sustainable Development.
SFR and Steria: A relationship that goes beyond implementing IT projects
As SFR's partner for over 20 years, Steria currently provides global IT outsourcing for the operator's mobile information system, end to end testing of the Corporate and Operating Information System, and SFR service platforms.
"We are extremely proud to receive this award, recognising the day-to-day work of our 300 employees and further strengthening our commitment to supporting the sustainable transformation of major telecom operators in this digital revolution," said Olivier Vallet, CEO of Steria France.
Eric Ioss, Managing Director of Information Systems at SFR, highlights "Steria's attentiveness, its mobilisation, and its ability to adapt to difficult situations." Eric Ioss further points out Steria's community involvement working alongside SFR's teams, "Our two companies share common values in terms of citizenship and sustainable development, which helps us to achieve short-term goals together."
Ecomouv': A tangible illustration of this sustainable relationship
Steria and SFR confirm their willingness to work together on innovative green projects, participating in the Ecomouv' response to the RFP with other European manufacturers, including Autostrade per l'Italia, SNCF and THALES. The project was started by the French Ministry of Ecology, Sustainable Development, Transport and Housing (Ministère de l'Ecologie, du Développement durable, des Transports et du Logement), in order to establish an eco-tax system for heavy goods vehicles by 2012.
Established by "Grenelle I" law, the eco-tax is paid by trucks for the use of the national non-licensed road system and departmental roads that may experience traffic delays.
