GROUPE STERIA : Steria to provide payroll and HR consulting services to the French Ministry of Justice
Agreement to drive efficiencies, improve accuracy and deliver significant cost-savings to the organisation.
Steria has won a contract to supply payroll and HR consulting services to the Ministry of Justice in France in a deal worth an estimated 6.5 million Euros over four years. Steria will be working with the organisation to centralise and re-design its processes to improve accuracy and efficiency while removing unnecessary costs. The contract is part of an existing partnership for IT modernisation with the French government. The project illustrates how Steria is enabling public sector transformation.
Paris, France, 19 November 2012 - Steria, a leading provider of IT-enabled business services, today announces that it has won a deal with the French Ministry of Justice to provide HR and payroll consulting services. The deal is part of Steria's existing partnership with the French Government and is part of a wider public sector transformation project at the French government.
Steria will lead the project in partnership with Trexia, a specialist in organisational consulting and HR systems in the public sector. Steria will re-design the organisation's processes to make them more efficient to ensure accuracy and compliance with data regulation.
The contract includes:Process re-design for HR and payroll business support services Establishing centralised centres of expertise and services for payroll and HR support A change management project involving more than 1,500 HR managers spread across France Expertise in HR technology including: SAP HCM, HR Access and People Soft Defining what information can be shared between departments according to data protection regulation
The deal is part of a larger interdepartmental approach to IT modernisation at the French government to improve HR functions across the culture, communication, labour, employment, health, environment, education and defence ministries.
