Sa filiale US, Enxco, va construire et faire fonctionner 2 centrales photovoltaiques (2,8MW) en Oregon d'ici mi-2011.

Portland General Electric enters into solar PV installations deal with enXco

Electric utility Portland General Electric (PGE) (NYSE:POR) and enXco, an EDF Energies Nouvelles Company (PARIS:EEN), have entered into power purchase agreements for solar photovoltaic installations, the two companies said on Tuesday.

These agreements are related to solar photovoltaic installations to be located in the Willamette Valley near Salem, Oregon. The two installations will provide a total of 2.84 MW (dc) of generating capacity, providing power for around 2,300 homes at peak production.

Under the deal, enXco will develop, build, operate, maintain and own the solar projects, while PGE will purchase the power generated under a 25-year power purchase agreement.

Construction is expected to start in early 2011, with commercial operations launched in July 2011.
