THENERGO : Record 70 mEuros raised on Alternext by Euronext Paris

THENERGO, the Belgian sustainable energy company admitted to Alternext by EuronextTM Paris by direct listing, has succeeded in raising the record sum of ¤70m, the largest amount to date since the creation of Alternext (the Euronext(TM) market dedicated to small and medium-sized companies).

Prior to its admission to Alternext by EuronextTM Paris on 14 June 2007, THENERGO raised ¤5m from Qualified Investors by creating 592,175 shares at a price of ¤8.45 per share.

Following its admission to Alternext, a further round of fund raising through a private placement resulted in ¤65m being raised from Qualified Investors on 18 June 2007.  7,692,308 shares were issued at a price of ¤8.45.

THENERGO is the second Belgian company and the sixth foreign company (all countries taken into account) to list on Alternext by EuronextTM Paris.

Based on a reference share price of ¤8.45, THENERGO has a market capitalisation of ¤113.2m.
