Paris, 12 February 2007 - Télécom Réseaux Services' sales for the first nine months of the 2006/07 financial year (ending 31 March 2007) came in at ¤26.47m, down 5.3% relative to the year-earlier period. Third-quarter sales totalled ¤9.17m, down from ¤9.73m in the third quarter of the previous financial year.
Sales in Support Services amounted to ¤16.55m in the first nine months of 2006/07, down 3.7% year-on-year, and ¤5.55m in the third quarter.
Integration Services posted nine-month sales of ¤9.92m, down 8% year-on-year, and third-quarter sales of ¤3.62m.
These figures confirm the comments TRS made regarding its short-term business outlook when reporting first-half results on 26 January. At that time, TRS reported that business levels had been firm throughout the first half of the third quarter, but had declined from mid-November onwards. Together with some customers postponing spending until after the French elections, this prompted TRS to forecast a year-on-year decline in sales in 2006/07.
However, this cyclical slowdown does not alter the company's bright medium-term outlook.
