After several years of fruitful collaboration, HP Software has awarded Steria with Platinum partner status. This is HP highest partnership level.
The partnership between HP Software and Steria began in 2000 with the roll out of Steria's Testing services offer. Over these past 8 years of collaboration, Steria has acquired top-level expertise in HP Software tools such as HP Quality Center, HP LoadRunner, HP QuickTest Professional and HP Business Process Testing. Steria had chosen HP Software's tools in addition to its methodological testing procedure based on positive feedback from several customers, particularly those in the telecommunications, banking and industry fields. Today, the partnership between Steria and HP includes the entire range of HP Software solutions in addition to its testing tools.
HP Software's solutions are central to Steria's testing industrialisation procedure. They allow for the large-scale reuse and capitalisation on test repositories. The result? Faster application availability and higher-quality applications.
Steria has created dedicated skills centers at each of its subsidiaries. These bring together communities of experts offering a set of shared, industrialised tools and services, which are delivered through Steria's Global Delivery Model (whether onshore, nearshore or offshore). The Steria skills center dedicated to application testing, brings together more than 1,000 experts.
Bruno Buffenoir, Director of HP Software France explains: “The development quality assurance that has been implemented through the HP Quality Center will allow us to deliver higher-quality applications to customers and shorten availability lead times. It is a guarantee of supplementary added value to Steria's integration business”.
Mukesh Aghi, CEO of Steria India, Group Sales Director, Member of Steria Executive Committee, comments that "this partnership strengthens the connection between our two companies. Our testing offer will be the first full beneficiary of this partnership; in addition, we will use a shared sales approach to roll out the HP Software offer and use it more often in our portfolio of solutions."
As a Platinum partner, Steria will have access to HP Software services such as training and support through a dedicated partner site.
The Platinum programme is an opportunity for Steria to head a technical community, meaning real added value for its clients. In addition, HP Software's support includes a training and certification programme for Steria's employees, with a particular focus on testing tools. This partnership will also encourage the development of synergies, especially in setting up shared events and publicity operations.
