GROUPE STERIA : Steria adds to its Group management team to support its growth

- Horst Teschke is appointed Group Business Development Director
- Graham Curtis is appointed Director of Technology and Innovation
- Eric Messigny is appointed Director of Risk, Quality and Information Systems

This new operational organisation structure is designed to support the Group's transformation, champion the international growth of its solutions and develop the technological excellence it delivers to its customers.

Horst Teschke, 57, formerly CEO for Steria in Belgium, Luxembourg and Switzerland, has been appointed Group Business Development Director. He is in charge of rolling out the Group's standard solutions, cementing the relationship with Steria's strategic partners and supervising programmes with the European Commission (Schengen and Visa), including Steria's development within Eastern Europe. He reports directly to François Enaud, the Group's Chairman and CEO.

Horst Teschke joined Steria in 2002 from Systor AG, where he was CEO in charge of financial solutions for Germany. Before that, he was a member of the board and manager of the Consulting business at Schumann Unternehmensberatung AG.

Following studies in mathematics and economics, Horst Teschke began his career at General Electric Information Services, where he held management positions in Customer Systems Development and Sales and Marketing in Germany, the United States and Central Europe. After this he was appointed CEO of the first joint venture between Deutsche Telekom and France Telecom, known as EUCOM. His role there was to manage a portfolio of holdings in services companies from all over Europe.

Graham Curtis, 46, formerly Chief Risk Officer, has been appointed Director of Technology and Innovation for the Group. He will be responsible for promoting technological and methodological expertise. Graham Curtis has over 25 years of experience in the IT services business. He started out at Software Sciences (now IBM Global Services) and worked as Technical Director for Bull Information System before joining Steria in 2002. His first posting at Steria was as Operations Director for the United Kingdom and his most recent appointment was as Group Director of Risk, Quality and Information Systems.

Graham Curtis is a graduate of the Imperial College in London and of the Institute of Directors. He also founded Churchill Retail Systems.

Eric Messigny, 44, has been appointed Director of Risk, Quality and Information Systems for the Steria group.

His most recent appointments were as CEO of Managed Services and Regions and, since 2004, Deputy CEO of Steria France.

Eric Messigny is a qualified engineer who studied at the UTC in Compiègne. He began his career at Steria in 1990 as a project manager and was promoted to sales engineer in 1993. He was appointed Director of the Ouest region Engineering and Telecoms department in 1995 and Director of the Telecoms and Services department (and subsequently division) in 1997. He went on in 2001 to become Director of the Manufacturing and Utilities division.
