Principal events in the first quarter 2007

In Q1 2007 the Group's consolidated revenue rose 4.6% (4.1% at constant currency)

In France, the trend has been good (+5% organic), chiefly thanks to Consulting and Systems Integration, all the more so because the 2006 basis of comparison was high (revenue rose 13.4% in Q1 2006).

In the United Kingdom, revenue rose 3.5% compared to Q1 2006 which included a significant amount of product sales (¤3.2m) as part of a contract that ended in March 2006. Services revenues grew by 9.9% in the first quarter.

In Germany, the trend is very positive with revenue rising 8.9% in Q1 2007

In the Other European countries, as part of the drive to reinforce the services model, the reduction of the software and hardware maintenance business, notably in Switzerland, resulted in revenue falling by ¤1.6m. It is worth noting that in Norway, the transformation which was carried out resulted in significant organic growth in the first quarter of 2007.

During the first quarter of 2007, the Group continued to structure its organisation with the goal of accelerating transformations to facilitate intra-Group synergies and high value-added offers:

  • Setting up of a Business Development Department, run by Horst Teschke (rolling out of Groups's standard solutions, cementing the relationship with Steria's strategic partners, supervising programmes with the European Commission),
  • Setting up of a Technology and Innovation Department, run by Graham Curtis (promoting the Group's technological and methodological expertise),
  • Setting up of a Client Value Department, run by Hervé Payan (development of Business Consulting, deployment of Vertical Solutions, management of international key accounts).

Next meetings/publications: AGM on June 5 2007; First Half 2007 sales and results on Monday, July 30 after the market close.
